Drones and Accessories On Sale
I was hoping that there would be some good deals on offer after Christmas, but I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed in what’s out there.
However I have managed to find a few bargains if you’re on the look-out for some new accessories.
Drone And Accessory Bargains
Parrot Swing £49.96
The best drone deal I’ve spotted so far is on this Parrot Swing, reduced from £119.99. A quirky design that looks like it would be great to fly.
I have to confess I don’t own one of these, or know anyone who does – but they look a lot of fun for less than £50.
Eachine E010 £23.99
One of the best and cheapest drones out there is the Eachine E010, now with £2 off.
Claiming to be an £8 saving from previous price £19.99, although some sellers did have these up before Christmas at £11.99.
So while it may not be a sale price in the strictest sense it’s a good deal on a great piece of kit. I own one of these and use it all the time – orange side is great on green grass, blue side for light earth or sand. Either side works well on concrete.
Aluminium Case for DJI Spark £39.99
If you own what we think is the best drone on the market at the moment – the DJI Spark – then this is a must-have to protect your investment. A sturdy yet light-weight aluminium carry case. Save £20 now.
We love a funny mug here at DroneFunUK and this one is a cracker for people who build and fly their own quads. It’s not available on the site yet but you can jump straight over to Amazon and get one by clicking on the link.
Watch Out For The Wind
If you’ve been watching the weather this week you will have noticed that it’s been very windy out there. The strength is due to reduce at the weekend, but if you’re out flying make sure you’re aware of the strength of the gusts and the maximum wind speed your drone can handle.
This is especially important if you’re flying near the sea as off-shore breezes can take your drone up, up and away for good. If you do find yourself struggling against the breeze, remember that some drones have a sports mode which will allow more power to the motors – might be handy in an emergency.
