Wishing you a Happy New Year for 2018 Leave a comment

I Hope You Had A Good Christmas

and got out and about with your drone, here are a couple of shots that I took on Boxing Day with the Mavic Pro.

I was trying out my new Huawei 10″ tablet to which I got to give a better view of the scene and the controls for the Mavic. Also new is the tablet holder from Sunny Life. I will be giving my opinion on these in the coming weeks but need a bit more time to play with them first before I can give an honest opinion.

If you’ve got any images you’d like to share, put them into the comments to this post on our Facebook page.

Looking Ahead to 2018

As I mentioned in my last blog we are pulling together some ideas for things to do next with the site and community. As a taster, a couple of the things we are planning for 2018 include;

  • More of the training animations that we’ve started to put up on YouTube,
  • An accompanying free PDF download of exercises to help you get to grips with your quad
  • Real product reviews and real feedback from real customers that have bought and flown drones.If you want to let people know about what’s good or what’s bad (even if you didn’t buy through us) make sure to let us know.

Resolutions for 2018

Personally, my resolution for next year is to get CAA approval to fly my Mavic Pro professionally. I’ll be looking at potential course providers with a view to starting training in the spring (when the weather is better) and I’ll document my journey to (hopefully) CAA accreditation on here so you can join me on my journey in case it’s something that you’re also interested in.

Whatever you wish for, I hope 2018 really takes off for you.

Happy New Year

from all the team at DroneFunUK.com
